Wishlists. If it were only that simple.

How many episodes of CSI can a person watch in row without leaving the couch? About three glasses of scotch worth. Thats how many. That kinda sums up the first day of the year. Wow.

But it was a nice weekend. And when I say nice I mean it in the most sincere way possible. I got to see family off to new worlds. And I was lucky enough to introduce myself to my newest friend. The kinda weekend thats puts it all into perspective, keeps your feet on the ground, and gives you a sense of much needed humility.

Tropic Thunder.... Dude. The bar has now been raised.

This and that, tit for tat.

Busy busy busy. Work is kinda crazy. You know how you go to Target or Walmart or any other store that has that "Back to School" section and it its all a mess and there are kids and parents scrambling to get their crap ready for the new school year? Thats what its like at work. A whole bunch of stuff that needs to be sorted out.

So on the weekends I do other stuff, like take my nephews to their Junior Padre Day at Petco Park to take photos with some of the players. Too bad I didn't get many photos of the players cause Dominic was shy. But Derrick got some cool shots. Not only that, but parents were only out for number 1. One of them actually stepped over a kid to get his in the front. Bastards.

And then my bros and I went to the AVP Tour in SD at Mariner's Point. I freakin love watching beach volleyball. Can't play for scrap, my knees and back, but I love watching it. Especially live. It was both my bro's first time watching the pro tour, so that was cool. If you haven't seen the AVP Tour live, you're missing out. Tell you what though, Its the hardest thing to shoot photos there. The speed of it all is just intense, its mind-bottling.

Oh and I'll be at camp for a week, peace out.

Earthquakes, hats, and voice coaching.

I know I can't sing, but when its just me and Kuma and a song that I like and know the lyrics to... I feel like I should be getting chicks with this voice. Is that why all those filipino dudes back in the day always thought they were R&B singers?

I sit here trying to bore myself to sleep but all I can do is write in fragments of thought. I kinda don't even wanna bother with grammar or sentence/paragraph structure. And MLA or ELA format, fah-get-about-it. If it came out the way it flows:

Earthquake was actually pretty scary.
New hat is sweet-tah.
I loved that "I kissed a girl song" till I heard one of my little ones singing it.
I need to pick up a new point & shoot.
I really hate when bad things happen to good people.
I hate it more when good people are branded as bad.

I fear the unpredictable moments in life. I can deal with struggle and I can accept the consequences of my actions, but when something happens that you didn't in a million years see coming... it can flip your world upside down. That scares me.

I've been taking more photos lately. With purpose. And I'm having fun. Feels good.

My little neice Jana...

The P.H. stands for phreaking hilarious

Dude. I don't know when it came to light, but Neal Patrick Harris is a freakin cool dude... for pretend anyway. I guess he was cool back in the day, then he was gone. Then he showed up in Starship Troopers which I thought kicked butt. Then he was gone. Then there was that TV show that everyone likes with the band camp girl. Which brings me to my personal favs, the Harold and Kumar movies. Comedy. Thats all I'll say about that. But his latest old spice commercials made him officially cool. What the heck am I writing about this guy for anyway. I want a t-shirt with him on it, or the NPH "Brand."

Anyone know how I can get stuff over there on the side? ------->>

F5 is a good way to Refresh

I have no clue whats going on here with this thing. I used to, but now I don't. In an attempt to simplify I have left myself short. And now the victim is my poor website.

I haven't written much. I haven't had a lot that I wanted to share, nor have I actually had the time to share.

I think though, that one idea I must work on is designing my business card (for non-education contact info) and I need to start thinking up a URL name for an on line portfolio of sorts. Yeah, thats what I'll do.

The goal for the next few days is to catch up. On work, on hobbies, on the next tattoo design, on home improvement, and self-improvement. I need to catch up, or grow up. Either or.
