How many episodes of CSI can a person watch in row without leaving the couch? About three glasses of scotch worth. Thats how many. That kinda sums up the first day of the year. Wow.
But it was a nice weekend. And when I say nice I mean it in the most sincere way possible. I got to see family off to new worlds. And I was lucky enough to introduce myself to my newest friend. The kinda weekend thats puts it all into perspective, keeps your feet on the ground, and gives you a sense of much needed humility.
